Break Free From Heroin, Fentanyl & Opiate Dependence.

At All Opiates Detox, we help patients safely detox from heroin and other opioids without replacing one addictive opiate with another. Our medically supervised Rapid Heroin Detox program is designed for individuals who want to become completely opiate free and move forward with long-term recovery.

Unlike traditional MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) or Methadone Maintenance Therapy (MMT), our program focuses on eliminating opioid dependence — not maintaining it.

Tired of Trading One Opiate for Another?

Many heroin addiction treatment programs rely on medications such as:

These medications are commonly used in MAT and methadone treatment programs as replacement therapy for heroin addiction. While they may reduce immediate withdrawal symptoms, they are still opioids — meaning patients often remain physically dependent on them.

Many individuals in these programs report feeling trapped in long-term maintenance cycles that require ongoing clinic visits, daily dosing, and continued opioid dependence.

Stopping medications like Methadone or Buprenorphine can also lead to prolonged withdrawal symptoms that may last for weeks or even months.

At All Opiates Detox, our goal is different:

We detox patients from all opiates — instead of substituting one opioid for another.

What Is Rapid Heroin Detox Under Sedation?

Rapid Heroin Detox is a medically supervised detoxification procedure designed to help patients withdraw from heroin and opioids while under sedation.

During the procedure:

  • The patient is carefully sedated by medical professionals
  • Opiates are removed from the brain’s opioid receptors
  • Withdrawal symptoms are accelerated while the patient is asleep
  • Acute withdrawal passes during the sedation period
  • A Naltrexone blocker is introduced once detox is complete

This process helps patients transition through the most difficult phase of heroin withdrawal in a controlled medical environment.

How Naltrexone Helps Prevent Relapse

One of the biggest challenges in heroin recovery is intense cravings after detox.

That is why All Opiates Detox incorporates Naltrexone therapy immediately after detoxification.

Naltrexone works by:

  • Blocking opioids from attaching to brain receptors
  • Reducing cravings for heroin and opioids
  • Helping prevent relapse
  • Supporting long-term abstinence

Unlike Methadone or Buprenorphine, Naltrexone is not an opioid and does not create opioid dependence.

This makes it an important part of our long-term recovery approach for patients seeking a fully opiate-free life.

Why We Prefer the Naltrexone Implant

At All Opiates Detox, our physicians often recommend the Naltrexone implant as part of aftercare and relapse prevention.

The implant offers several advantages over oral tablets or monthly injections:

Longer Lasting Protection

The implant may remain effective for approximately 2 months, compared to:

  • Daily tablets requiring consistent use
  • Monthly injections such as Vivitrol

Reduced Risk of Missed Doses

Because the implant continuously releases medication, patients do not need to remember daily dosing schedules.

Removable if Necessary

If a patient experiences sensitivity, side effects, or allergic reactions, the implant can be removed by a physician. Injectable medications cannot be removed once administered.

One Decision Can Change Everything

Why Long-Term Recovery Matters

Heroin and fentanyl addiction affect both the body and the brain. Recovery is not just about getting through withdrawal — it is about rebuilding physical health, emotional stability, and long-term sobriety.

Our medical team often recommends remaining on Naltrexone maintenance therapy for up to one year to support brain recovery and reduce relapse risk.

Successful recovery may also include:

  • Psychotherapy
  • Counseling
  • Behavioral therapy
  • 12-step programs
  • Ongoing medical monitoring
  • Family support systems

Long-term support significantly improves the chances of maintaining sobriety after detox.

Heroin DETAILS

Heroin is an illegal opiate obtained off the street. Heroin was first made in the lab in 1874 from Morphine, which is an alkaloid that is extracted from the opium in poppy seed and is grown in Asia, Mexico, Afganistan, and Colombia. About 65% of the opium is produced in Afghanistan. 75% of the world’s heroin is consumed in the United States.

Heroin SIDE EFFECTS

There are side effects from injecting heroin, especially when sharing needles. These include hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, and HIV. At the site of injection, abscesses might develop. With intravenous use bacteria could be administered into the bloodstream. Such bacteria could vegetate in the heart valves resulting in damage which might also lead to congestive heart failure requiring emergency
heart surgery.

Heroin WITHDRAWALS

Heroin withdrawal syndrome could start a few hours after missing a dose since it is a short-acting opioid. Withdrawals would begin with sniffles, anxiety, restlessness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, diarrhea, agitation, jerking, shaking and hallucinations. These withdrawals will lead the user to seek heroin again or other opiates or drugs to get rid of these withdrawals.

Heroin OVERDOSE

The first heroin injection will lead to a very high euphoric feeling. With subsequent use, that perception is diminished with each dose, and other stress factors start building up in the brain which ultimately result in tolerance. Tolerance will result in raising the heroin dose to chase that first high. It is this behavior that will lead to overdose. Overdose will result in somnolence, shallow breathing, poor responsiveness and if not rescued will lead to death. To interrupt this overdose that could lead to death Narcan, a short-acting opiate blocker is the rescue medicine used to wake up the user and get them to start breathing so they can then be transported to the hospital. Narcan is available without prescription at the pharmacies so that family members can intervene and prevent death of their loved ones.

Heroin ABUSE

Heroin is a potent opioid. Heroin users experience the best high for the very first time use. This high euphoric effect will lead to continued use to chasing what is called “the first high.” Consequently, that will lead to tolerance, then dependence, which will ultimately result in addiction. Less than 70% of heroin is injected intravenously, about 24% is taken nasally, and the rest is smoked. Since Heroin is a short-acting opiate, it is used more frequently than other opiates.
